The possible poses recommended for a pregnant women, without complications include the balancing poses which could be done with the help of a wall or chair. Squats will help in the stretching of hips that aid in preparing the body for delivery. You can seek the support of blocks when you can’t squat without assistance.
Deep twisting poses are never allowed during pregnancy. Poses which exert pressure on the stomach including forward bends are to be avoided when doing Yoga. If you are a beginner doing Yoga, completely avoid inversion poses including headstands or shoulder stands. If you are already trained in Yoga, you can continue with such poses, provided you are comfortable in it.
