Seitai is a Japanese health practice in which the body and spirit are respected and viewed as interlinked. The term Seitai originated in Japan after World War II, the term having been invented by Haruchika Noguchi. The Ki, or life and spiritual force of our inner minds is seen as the root of all health and when this is ignored sickness can result. Seitai can require realignment of our movements to make them coordinate with our inner spirit. It also requires a realignment of our thoughts to positively connect them to the inner mind without negativity.
