Adult Vaccination We might take special time and care to give vaccinations to our kids. At the same time, we can be so careless about the vaccinations and measures to be taken for adults. Things become even worst when some people even don’t know about the existence of such vaccinations.

Flu shot is a recommended vaccination for people who are more than 65 years old. Pregnant ladies during flu season and people with heart or lung diseases are advised to take this precaution.

Pneumococcal is a recommended vaccination for people above 65 years of age and those who have chronic diseases. Hepatitis A and hepatitis B are vaccinations for patients who have been advised by doctors.

People have to take vaccinations against measles, rubella, mumps etc. A person should have had at least three tetanus and diphtheria vaccinations in their lifetime. If adults haven’t had this in time, they have to complete the series.
