Low carb diets are being lapped with good pace by our society suffering from obesity epidemic. Low carb diets like Atkins and Hollywood diet cut down on carbs for the purpose of attaining weight reduction. The idea is to disallow the body a metabolic deficit. When a body does not get carbs, it feels that it’s running through a party phase and hence it cuts down on fat storage expecting better days. Such fat can be shed and results in loss of weight.
Low carb diets means that junk intake is getting limited. This will automatically increase energy levels and cut down fatigue and heaviness. Low carb diets are also used as crash courses for weight loss. Only thing to keep in mind is “low” carb and not “no” carb because body needs some carb to survive. Fruits, vegetables, fibers and a lot of fluids shall be the order of the day.
