Every time I undertake a fast, if someone finds out they ask me why I am bothering. They seem almost frightened by the idea of foregoing food for a few days. What they don’t know is how great it makes me feel. Fasting starts a half day or full day after the last time you’ve eaten, as your body is still digesting food until then. Once the body enters into a fast, many of the toxic poisons stored in the body begin to be released. Human growth hormone is released at a faster rate, leading to extended longevity.
