Lower back pain is one of the most common complain of people irrespective of age and sex. There is no specific cause, but arises due to muscle strain that lead to chronic pain making walking and even standing difficult.

Instead of allowing it to aggravate, make life simple by doing regular exercises rather than just bed rest. You may apply relief sprays and gels for minor pains. Avoid lifting heavy objects and lie with a pillow under your knees. You may try heating pads or ice pack. Consult a doctor before it is too late because individual treatment is required depending on your lifestyle and medical history. Such pain generally reduces within weeks or few months if it is nerve damage or a herniated disc and surgery is rarely required. Take painkillers only on doctor’s recommendation. Acupuncture or therapeutic massage also reduces such pains.

Most importantly don’t feel depressed but be positive.
