Tonsil stones have no relationship with cancer even though malignant tumors can form in the throat. Tonsils are a hub of blood vessels, lympahatics, muscles and nerves and prone to abnormal cell growth while tonsil debris are stones made of calcium salts formed by bacteria , excessive saliva and dead blood cells.

On the other hand tonsillitis is an inflammation of the tonsils while stones in the tonsils lead to bad breath though this may likely lead to tonsillitis hence important to keep throat ant mouth clean.
At the same time there are various types of tonsil cancer depending on the kind of tissue it comes from. Symptoms include mouth ulcer, throat pain, sore throat, throat lump among others. Cancer is caused by genetic mutation these genes are naturally found in human cells and some are as a result of exposure to caseinogens.
